Fcp txt/title issue!!!??? Wtf?

Ok so i made a tite in fcp and i want to stretch the title on the timline to go lets say 5mins long.. well... it dosnt want to stretch past 1min... am i doing something wrong?

yah i could... i could also do txt in photoshop..etc..

lol that not the point - in premiere i can stretch my txt as long as i need to for watermark pourpouses... etc but fcp wont let me.. just strange that a simple option like that is disabled etc...
 
Load the text clip into your viewer.
If you click in the total length TC box in the top right corner, you can make it whatever length you like, then trim away!
