I just got FCP pro studio and I'm going through the DVD's that come with it, editing that surfer video. I'm on the motion tutorial and I'm at the part where you select the two items on the timeline and import them into motion. Well, I follow the directions from the DVD, but the items don't get transfered into motion. Anyone else had this problem or issues with the DVD's that ship with FCP? Is it something I'm doing wrong?
I feel a little foolish asking this question, but I really want to follow the tutorials as much as possible and get through them.
