FCP to STP Glitch

I shot a long (45 minute) interview recently that I needed to edit to about 3 minutes. I cut it in FCP, and I used footage without the audio for cutaways and a 2nd video track. I took the whole thing into Soundtrack Pro to reduce noise, and when it came back, a good portion of the audio was misaligned.

Now, all of the clips were from the same source footage, one long, continuous shot, and I know that when STP was processing, it seemed like it was processing the whole 45 minutes of audio.

Did I need to export the sequence, then re-import it to FCP, THEN take it into STP?

How did you exported it?

Did you "send to STP audio file project"? I always "send to" instead of exporting. It's a much safer way to keep all things aligned

I'm pretty sure I highlighted all the clips in the timeline and did a "send to." Now that I think about it, I may have also grabbed the video from the second track and sent that as well, which is maybe what caused the problem.
