FCP to Color workflow

Had a quick question, I've already done some contrast work in FCP on my short film and now want to bring it into Color for correction. Should I disable the contrast work and import into Color or is it okay to keep the contrast work in there?
 
When sending your timeline to color its best to strip any effects or filters you've added. I would do all my CC in FCP or color, not both.
