FCP to AE workflow???

I use FCP as my main NLE and I just got AE which seems like a really nice program for doing just about everything. I was wanting to do all of our vfx work and color correction work in AE but I am not sure what the workflow is from FCP to AE. Normally I would export to Apple Color for this type of work which is an option under the export tab, so I am not sure how to export to AE. I appreciate all the help from you guys, ya'll have saved my bacon many many a time before.

There are some expensive options like Automatic Duck and Boris XML Transfer for sending FCP projects to AE. If you don't have the money to spend on those programs your best bet is to use to search Popcorn Island and use their FCPtoAE script or render out movies in FCP and import them into AE.
