FCP to AE CS3: clips are too dark!

This has probably been discussed before but everytime I export a clip (PRORES, originally HDV) from FCP 6.04 and bring it into AE CS3, it gets pretty dark. Does anybody have a solution for this? I need to mask out some light reflections and if I cant figure this out I'll be stuck.

This must Apple forcing people to use motion. HELP!!! I need to finish this by tomorrow...

in after effects go into "project settings" look for "match legacy gamma adjustments" and check that box

i actually read about that, it still looks considerably darker..

oh well...pressure's good sometimes. i figured out how to do it in motion. haha.
