but what's next
how do I match up vision & sound
in simple terminology please
or please show me a tutorial
thanks in advance

Did you jam your audio recorder timecode from the camera so they were properly sync'ed? What TC mode did you use on the camera and the recorder - were they set the same? Did you tether the camera and recorder or did they free-run? Did you slate each take?

Hi Steve Yes i did jam the audio and camera....I set both on FreeRun...didnt slate...

Not an FCP guru but most NLEs can automatically position the clips on the timeline according to their embedded timecode. If you jammed the camera and recorder so their timecode registers matched, the timestamp at the start of each take's audio file will match to the timecode for a video frame embedded somewhere in that take's video file. Drop the video take into the timeline and it lines up according to its timecode. Then drop in the audio flile and it should line up so the start of file timestamp aligns to the video frame containing the same timecode.
