Just converted a few videos from youtube. most of the raw videos were grabbed as mp4, one was an flv though. i loaded it all into a batch list with the mp4s - everything had the same export settings. and i let it convert.
note: i have installed perian to give mpegstreamclip flv compatability.
for some reason, when bringing all the converted video files into my timeline, the clip that was originally an FLV clip still requires rendering. upon inspecting the properties of the video, i can see that FCP thinks it is 25fps - which WAS the frame rate of the original clip - but has since been converted to 29.97. i can confirm that it is 29.97 in the video inspectors on QT and streamclip. it IS 29.97.
how can i fix it so FCP realizes the correct frame rate so i dont have to render?
