FCP Studio 2 Log and Transfer wierdness

Hi,
I have a number of clips with icons in the log and transfer window.
When I drag the clips to the project (in the area below the clips where it says "drag media here") a completely different clip gets imported.
I am stuck with no way to import the clips (determined by icon and scrubbing through the log and transfer viewer). When I physically drag the file over....a totally seperate clip gets imported.
Has anyone experienced this before? Is it related to file naming? The clip that actually gets imported has a different clip name than the one I am trying to import. Some folders that the clips are in may have the same name however ie. Day1>Card 1>0005NF
Thanks for any help or suggestions. It's unusual because we've shot 600GB in 2 days backed up to 2 seperate drives.

Hi Mike,
I am well aware of the top left button....and that has been working no problem.
My issue is that when I drag clips located in the contents folder (into FCP) a different clip sometimes gets imported than the one I dragged over.
It seems clicking "add selection to queue" seems to work better, but the wrong clips are still getting imported.
Should I re-name all the folders? Im thinking that would help, but with over 600GB of clips that's a lot of work.
Suggestions anyone?

No don't rename the folders at all- make sure you are putting each P2 into it's own directory with all of the original folders from the card. And just ingest all at once.
