FCP stopped detecting my sd cards (I use a GH2)

i have edited with final cut pro for 4 years. I have always just put the SD Card into my computer, opened up final cut pro and went to log and transfer. All the clips automatically popped up and I could transfer them into FCP. For some reason now nothing shows up in log and transfer. I have restarted/reinstalled FCP and tried to manually import the PRIVATE folder and the .mts files with no luck. Any idea why this is happening? any settings I need to double check?

It still works with some of my memory cards but not others.

try google it, i had same thing last week and it took me good hour or two to fix it.

try deleting preferecnes for fcp, restart computer , try again

reinstalled FCP and had no luck. Tried a different memory card and it worked fine. So is there a way to get this memory card working again? all the .mts files are there but I cant get them in FCP.

Okay so i purchased a new memory card and used it twice with no problem. The third time I tried to upload to FCP it just didnt detect this memory card either. I uploaded some of my footage to a PC in the middle of all this with no problems and can still upload to my pc. Did uploading to a PC format the card somehow and prevent me from using it with my mac again? Is there a way to format it for my mac? I have never formatted a memory card and never needed to but now I keep having issues.

If I had to guess, I'd guess the PC wrote some file info onto the card that's causing FCP to stop recognizing it. I'd suggest reformatting the card in your camera once you've gotten all your clips off.
