FCP shuts down when I try to capture!! X (

Whenever I try to capture footage, FCP shuts down. I'm not sure why this would have just started all of a sudden. I did recently upgrade to 10.4 OS X. Please help!

Gotta go with the old standby on this one, trash preferences and then try again. At least that would be my first trouble shooting tactic. Good luck.

I agree trash the preference, also what version of FCP are you using, and what format are you trying to capture?
