FCP & Showing Sound waves

Does anyone know how to produce soundwaves for viewing in the canvas? For example I have lets say a music video I am editing and at the bottom of the canvas I want to see the soundwaves in the picture. Is there a filter or a way to do that that I am unaware of?

Well, not exactly what I was looking for.....thak you though.....I should better explain myself...


I want to take those waveforms, and show them in the canvas....Like I want to produce a video of the audiotrack....make sense?

u mean like have a video of waveforms? Kinda like in the movies before the show when those people are talking and you see all the waveforms?

After Effects. You can't do this in FCP. (as far as I know)
