FCP setting with 1080i/24p ftg

Panasonic HPX 170 shot at 1080i/24P
I'm logging and transferring my ftg shot at 1080i/24P NOT 24PA.
The Panasonic P2 ftg comes in as 29.97 DVCPRO HD and is interlaced.
I'm intercutting it with DSLR ftg that was transcoded to pro res 422 at 23.97. (This is the majority of the ftg, the P2 is b roll)
In order to mix the two in my timeline I'm sending the P2 ftg to cinema tools.
If I don't cutting it in a 23.97 timeline makes that 29.97 ftg interlaced.
If I'm using cinema tools to do the reverse telecine do I check remove advanced pulldown in preferences or leave it unchecked during log and transfer of the source files?
Also reverse telecine makes it 24 so when cut into a 23.97 timeline it's green though that would be anyway since it's a DVCPRO HD clip in a pro res time line. What should I be concerned about mixing these two?

I did another shoot using the same record set up 1080i/24p but don't need to worry about mixing it with other ftg yet. The next time I shoot for this project I can keep the record set up the same so it will match. When i log and transfer this 1080i/24P ftg should I check the remove advanced pulldown box in the preference?
I have no problem editing in a 29.97 timeline and selecting field dominance upper to remove the interlacing. Will I be running into problems exporting this 29.97 timeline for the web however?

One last question about shooting 24p vs 24pa. Is there a quality difference or just easier to work with 24pa?
