FCP scrolling stinks

Anyone have the same issue. You do a simple scroll of end credits and they look terrible, not solid professional looking scrolls. Any ideas around this besides avoiding scrolls & doing dissolves between title pages...?

I've never had a problem. I agree that the scroll tool is a pain in the ass to work with but if you work with it for awhile it will all pan out. Try using live type or motion that is what I usally use

Not knowing live type or motion too well yet, you can do scrolls in those programs? Or, do you have to create a page, input it into FCP and apply a scroll? Thanks!

Photoshop always works well.

I don't find it all that bad. I find the Borris Scroll really choppy and so I never use it

Now you just make the scroll in live type or motion and import the movie. but I guess you found that out.
