FCP rotating only some clips WHY???? HELP!!!

I shot with the m2 so all my clips where upside down. After i started editing, i have had to reinstall FCP, so when i opened the project in the newly installed FCP it some clips where rotated some not. I hit remove attributes, and they are all back to being upside down, when i nest the sequence and apply a rotation to all clips, it looks good after i render, but once exported the clips are again randomly rotated. Also i have a light blue line on top of some clips and a gray one on top of others. 3 days of hell. Have tried all thinkable combinations. not nesting, exporting.....going crazy. Someone have this problem? Thank you
