FCP quits in intro

Hey Guys,

I am working with final cut 5. I don't know what the issue is but everytime I open fcp as soon as it gets to the intro dialog box it shuts right down. Has anyone delt with this problem before and if so how can I resolve it? thanks.

I'd start by trashing your FCP preferences and restarting both your machine and FCP.

If that doesn't work, I'd reinstall FCP from your original install discs and see if that helps.
