Anybody knows what compressor do I need to install on PC to be able playback raw FCP Quicktimes?? I captured footage on FCP but I need to edit it on PC.
It will play only audio, but no video.

the file ic captured as uncompressed 10bit NTSC. btw DV from FCP plays fine.

Any ideas??

Thanks

You could put all the files into one timeline, and export that using the quicktime conversion. This will make it a straight .mov, and all you need on a PC for this is quicktime.

it's just I have over 200gb of video footage so that would be quite extensive conversion. I think there is a HDV plugin for Vegas, but I'm not sure if that will install proper codecs that will playback video.

If QuickTime Pro is installed on the PC, it should be no big deal. But you need QTPro on both machines.
