So I am at work right now. Our Lan has been having some issues and to keep up with deadlines we all began working on externals with the plan to reconnect later (all assets are backed up). Well the time has come to reconnect files. Everything reconnects. However, when we reconnect our audio FCP produces the error that there isn't enough information in the audio, therefor in and out points will be adjusted...well good for final cut but bad for me because now all the audio is out of sync. We film on 5D's and record to h4. Transcode is to 422. All frame rates of video match the meta data fr in the audio.
I proceeded to copy the audio assets from my harddrive to local. But everything still goes out of sync.
any one here experience this?
