Anyone here whose used both FCP and Premiere Pro? Which one do you think is better in terms of effects and overall editing? I am wondering if i should get an apple or a custom made editing computer?

It basically all comes down to personal preference. For my needs, I like FCP much better than Premiere. Go down to some store and test both of them out.

FCP. I use and teach both. p-pro aint bad and it's what i'd recommend if you must go pc, but otherwise fcp is more stable, more scalable, and co-operates better with other software (if, for example, you wanted to do an online at an avid facility.)
