FCP opening in startup

Question. FCP 5.1.2 opens automatically when I turn my computer on. Is there a preference where I can turn this feature off?

Check the icon in your dock... I'll bet it is set to open on startup... or something like that.

Deselect it.

Cap is right, right click the Icon in the Dock, or go to the Accounts panel in the System Prefs. Personally, I purposly have FCP and a few other things open automatically. Seeing as how that's most of what I do on my computer anyway.
