FCP on 15 inch mac pro?

How well will FCS run on a refurbished 15 inch mac pro with 4 gig ram from the generation of macs before the current?

Great! I've been running the same system for a year and a half, also using a second monitor, although from what I understand you should only use 3gb of ram with the MacBook Pro. You CAN fit 4gb, but Apple doesn't reccommend it for some overlap reason--
