FCP Newbie Render Question

Hey Guys,

Just started using FCP 5 after using Vegas on a PC for years. Love it.

This is really a basic problem I'm having.

I shot greenscreen footage on the DVX at 4:3. In the viewer after I import it, it looks fine. However when I render a quicktime at NTSC 4:3 720 by 480 to view it is stretched horizontally.

Never had this problem with Vegas. It's something that I'll kick myself about after i figure it out I'm sure. Any help would be appreciated.
 
Are you working in a widescreen sequence or 4:3? If the sequence setting is for widescreen, then it would stretch the footage to conform to the rest of the sequence.

What is the aspect ratio of the rest of your footage?
