FCP Monitor question

What monitor set up do you guys have for FCP?

Money is getting real tight so I'm looking to purchase the best possible monitors I can get with a budget of $1000. I'm leaning towards a 30 inch flat screen LCD TV with a DVI input, but I'm debating if I should go with 2 17 inch NEC MultiSync LCD's.

I searched to see if I could find info on monitor set ups but nothing came up. =(

I'd LOVE to hear some of your personal set ups.

wait for a sale on the Dell 24" LCDs, they go for $800ish every once in a while

I have two 23" apple cine HD displays and wouldn't trade for anything. if you look at price for proformances that apple displays compare very well for what you are getting.
