hey im editing with FCP and all of a sudden whenever i import a song it messes up. i import it then render it and the songs will be starting in random places. this is without me editing anything. sometimes i when i delete the song rename it and re import/render it, it works fine, but sometimes it doesnt. anyone know whats up?

what type of file is it? if it is anything other than WAV or AIF, then you need to convert it to 48khz AIF before bringing it into FCP.
