FCP import of MXF not working "invalid Directory"

I finally got all the upgrades and stuff to
edit in FCP. The only problem so far is there are a couple of
camera rolls that I'm unable to import into the
"Panasonic P2" import folder in Final Cut Pro. It says "Invalid Directory
Structure... ". I haven't been able to figure it out
yet. The files are there it must be some wierd
technicality maybe a preferance thing.

Anyone experience this problem in FCP.

Sounds somewhat familiar to a problem talked about quite a while ago. Can't remember for sure though. Basically the solution to it was to put the card folders onto the desktop instead of anywhere else on your system. If it is the same problem as others in the HVX threads used to talk about, that was the trick they used to solve their problems. Good luck.

What version of FCP are you using, are you coming off a P2 card, or the data you copied to a hard drive?
