S sheridan pennell Active member May 21, 2006 #2 yes i think that it is ,i have had many cameras xl1,xl2,jvc,sony fx1 and this is far the best just wait fcp will update 720p soon at the minute i shoot 1080 and dvcpro 50 which ifind easy on fcp
