I'm trying to practice editing a music video in FCP 6. I was instructed to shoot the video using a similar technique that cheezweezl suggested here (generate timecode over a music track and export to a iPhone/iPad, and film this makeshift slate at the start of every take).
Then in post it's supposedly easy to sync all the tracks and just drop the best shots into the timeline as we go. Except I'm not sure how to do this - how do I review the various takes that are all stacked in multiple tracks as I go and drop them in?
