FCP - - How to get look like un-rendered

In Final Cut Pro, I through a Magic Bullet misfire filter on a clip. On my MacBook, the clip plays back without rendering, but it has what is to me a very desirable motion effect... until rendered, that is.

The motion pulses rhythmically about 3 to four times per second, (not stuttering, but smoothly playing back).

Is there a way to create this type of effect intentionally?

I know this isn't a very clear question, but I have no way of showing it. Thanks for any time trying to figure out what I'm asking about.

You might be able put the video full screen, thenuse a screen capture software such as Ishowu to capture the effect.

Maybe use the strobe filter? I'm not sure it's exactly what you're looking for, though.

Or just blow it through a deinterlacing filter, lots of ways to make footage look bad.
