FCP how to anamorphic lens stretch

Hello All,

I tried to locate this by searching but could not find exact procedures.

Just picked up a 2x Kowa anamorphic lens. I am new to FCP. I set up a sequence preset for 1920 x 720. But I am having problems with the correct procedures for stretching the image. I read some other posts indicating to adjust the x and y axis to 125% and 66.67% but cannot figure out how to set the axis.

I know I will have to tweek a bit around 2.66:1 but need some help. Detailed instructions would be nice on the best way to adjust for best fit.

Photograph something that's circular. The round tires of a car are a good example. In FCP, adjust the Distortion control in the Motion tab until the tire looks circular.
 
What I do (I am not sure about it being the best) is:
Select each individual clip. Double click.
In the motion tab set the aspect ratio to -100.
In order to avoid doing this for every single clip you may copy and paste attributes to the other clips.
