I am new, thanks in advance for the welcome
And to Barry for helping in the other forum. There, he notes, the problem specific to FCP HD & DVX100A...

Here is the issue, I have FCP HD & a New DVX100A (yesterday) - still having problems with jaggies and interlaced looking frames. I have read almost everything about this I could it seems what I am doing should work. I believe I am recording at 24p Advanced, and capturing from the camera, not a deck, with the 2:3:3:2 Pulldown Removal. I create a sequence at either 23.98 or 24 and still every 4th or 5th frame looks like this (just a test)...

this is a good frame...

AND... when laying down the clip into the sequence(s), 24 or 23.98, the clip is NOT rendered (red stripe at the top of the sequence) but the smart people already know that... The issue is what in the world can I be doing wrong?
I have read so much about this subject and I still don't know what is going on, it should work, meaning... If I did it right, CORRECT ME IF I AM WRONG, I should lay the clip in the sequence and not have to render it, and should not see any frames that are interlaced, right?
I tried to capture using "Firewire NTSC" and "Firewire NTSC NDF". I believe it was the "NDF" that stopped EVERY frame from being interlaced, as stated above, now I see 1 interlaced frame out of every 4 or 5 - Was it the "NDF"? Sometime I hear people say "If you do it right, no problems" and I hear people like Barry say "There are definately issues using FCP HD with DVX100A". I am not a newbie to all this, but something is clearly wrong...
FCP HD, DVX100A, or ME! Which is it?
