FCP HD 4.5 Question?

I've got a project on FCP HD 4.5, when I go to export it to Mpeg2 for DVD Studio Pro 3, it won't let me encode it and an error message comes up that reads: The movie must be rendered before it can be encoded. However, I've rendered everything and I can't figure out why it's still giving me this error message. I've tried compressor but the video is an hour long and it just takes too long. If anybody can help it would be greatly appreciated.

If the video is an hour long.....it WILL take a while to encode via compressor (or anything else).
Let it encode overnight.

Why not use compressor...? I'm not getting you there, Compressor is very good. Like Esperman said, MPEG2 encoding just takes a while in any program, especially if you want to mantain quality.
