Has anyone ever encountered a FCP Green Screen of Death? This has nothing to do with blue screen/green screen shooting. Basically all your footage is still online (at least apparently online) in the Browser and on the timeline. But the Viewer and Canvas only display a complete neon green image (no detail, nothing, think of a neon green slug).
I tried searching around for it, but of course all searches end up giving keying related results. The one brief hit I found had one user implying that it was an AJA problem, but the computer I saw this on, had no AJA card on it So that idea is certainly not valid if what they experienced and what I saw is the same thing.
I don't have a screen grab of it, and was unable to repeat it. But it was the weirdest thing. Trashing the preferences was tried, but that did not help the situation.
The only thing I could think of was that it was some kind of hiccup of switching versions. The person had started with it on an older version (which one I can't recall) and we opened it on 5.1. But I've updated projects many times and never seen aything like that. So just wondering if anyone has seen or read about this at all, as it was new to me.
