I swear that Importing into FCP is harder than shooting the footage.
Please if anybody can lend me a hand it would be appreciated.
I have shot all the project on 24pa with th dvx 100b.
I am having issues with Sound sync, at the end of long takes the sound is out by a few seconds.
This is a new one. at other times the sound clip is longer than the video although there is no sound on the extra part...
I realize that it is just a setting, but damm.
I am editing on a 24 frame timeline and importing @ 29.97, i think this is what i should be doing but then i see that i should be using the easy setup option for dv-ntsc 24p advanced pulldown, but that footage comes out as 24p on the time line.
This is frustrating to say the least and all i can find when i do the search is a HEAP of conflicting advice. I am going to reinstall the program as i think there may be some issues with it.
I WANT to get the book, that everybody raves about, I have no CC and have managed to bankrupt myself on this project at the moment.
I know this is a long shot but please people if you post advice ... please know what you are talking about.
