Just finished a project using HVX and P2, now I'm gearing up for a new project using DVCAM and a DSR-11. Problem is, my Firewire port isn't recognizing the deck... well it is kinda...
let me explain, when I go to capture, the capture utility recognizes there is a deck, and I can control it, but no footage comes though. Also, It won't let me view the timeline going out through the Firewire>deck>monitor, and it says there is no deck detected...
FW port recognizes external harddrives, as well as my HVX, but it's this deck that is acting up.:furious3: :furious3: :furious3:
The FW cable i use works fine - just used it to export some footage from my HVX/P2 to a hard drive, and also from my HVX/P2 to the NLE.
I used this deck on a different NLE the other day, and it worked fine. This is super frusterating, cause I need to snd out invoices, and make room for more footage on the HD... time is of the essence!!! HELP ME GUYS PLEASE!!!!:badputer:
Also, I've run FCP Rescue 4 and FCP Rescue 5 to trash my prefs and start over... NOTHING!
