Fcp Dvcpro Hd Frame Rate Converter

hey guys!

does anybody where else i can find the frame rate converter plug in. i tried puttin in the install disc for FCP6 and opened the EXTRAS folder, the plugin wasnt there. by the way i have the academic version of FCP6 i dunno if that matters. thanks a bunch
 
The Academic Version should still have the frame rate convertor in there. It should install automatically with the FCP 6 install. From an Apple white paper:

"The DVCPRO HD Frame Rate Converter is now installed with Final Cut Pro. Both 720p60 and 720p50 footage can now be converted."

Click on your 720p60 media file, then go into the Tools menu and look for it there, it should be there already. If for some reason its not there, you could always just google around and look for the Panasonic installer. It should still be available online here and there.
