FCP Crashes on Quicktime Movie Export

When I try to export my film using "Current Settings" everything works fine. When I try and bump up the quality export using 72060p Final Cut will crash about 50% through the export every time. Does anyone have any suggestions how I can export in HD without FCP crashing?

My film's format is as follows:

DVCPRO HD 720 60P

29.97 fps

Pix Aspect: HD 960 X 720

Not sure what the issue is, but can offer a few suggestions to remedy.

Trash your FCP preference files (do a search on Google).

Restart computer in safe boot (restart holding down Shift).

Repair Disk Permissions (disk utility).

Restart computer in normal mode and fire up FCP.


These are my normal maintenance procedures when things go awry. Works well in many instances.
