fcp crash while edit

so far, I've had more than 10 crashes in the last two days.
I'm pretty sure it's because of corrupted preference file. (because it also happens with my SAFARI as well)
I know that if I should delete either the MOA or POA cache it might solve it. if anyone know me to be dead wrong then please reiterate me.
 my scratch disks are lined up and it's not the autosave gone haywire because it only crashes on an action.

my safari has been quitting after the 10.3.5 update too. i repaired permissions, seems fine. maybe reset pram?

macs dont crash. there were a lot of problems with rev a dual processor machines though. my dual processor g5 has never crashed on my once.
my first one did because i got one of the bad batches. took it back and ive been crash free since february.
i guess every company has something like that go on sometime or another. look at all of windows security holes one the "most stable and protected os"

My Mac was crashing with a pirate version of FCP 4. Now that I bought the upgrade to my FCP 3, it stopped crashing.

i borrowed a friends copy of fcp4, so its real. he doesnt use the disks so i basically still have it.

try finding a friend to bum off or buy it if you're using the pirate version.

If you're attending any type of classes purchase it at education rate. If you're really hard up consider Final Cut Express.
