FCP Batch Export to WMV using Flip4Mac produces document files

So I bought the Flip4Mac full version for $200. wow. it works though so i guess thats all that matters.
I'm exporting WMV files. When i export normally it works fine, but when i do a batch export they come out as a document file. I searched online for similar complaints but didnt find any.
Any ideas?

Thanks for the help. I couldn't be in video production without all the questions and answers that people took the time and energy to post:)
