FCP Audio off when capturing

Lately when capturing clips using FCP my audio is always off by exactly 24 frames every time. It's really annoying and I don't want to have to capture clips and then re export them every time with the audio fixed. I'm using a Macbook Pro which has never had any trouble before, just got a new hard drive with 90gb open and FCP 5.0.1. Shooting with a DVX100B. Someone PLEASE help. =(
 
This happens to me from time when shooting with DVX. Not with HVX at all though. I never understood why it happened. I got so used to it I just moved the audio files over .16 seconds and it fixed it.
 
there has to be a fix. cuz its just the computer im on/copy of final cut. i take the same tapes to my schools comp lab and they capture fine. so it has to be either my comp or final cut. but the comp specs are fine so i dont know whats up.
 
i have tried capturing to both the computer hard drive and my 1tb western digital hard drive (which has 900gb free).
