FCP audio issue

Have Final Cut Studio 2 with the lastest download upgrades for my Mac Pro.

From FCP I use File - Export- Export for Soundtrack pro.

I normalize and eq the audio, the in soundtrack File - export- leave current settings.

When I open in FCP the audio starts in sync then gradually the audio is faster than the video.

any idea why?

This problem is with any footage, DV NTSC 29.23fps, DVCPro 60i, and so on

Sample rate? You have actually tested with different footage and frame rate?

And you should be using the "send to STP" command. Don't know if that makes a difference. My biggest guess is sample rate. Your somehow sending to STP as 44.1 or out puting from STP as 44.1 and you dropping it on a 48 timeline and the audio is getting stamped as 48 and getting plaged back fast. If you listen carefuly you should be able to hear a slight pitch shift, though after messing with it in STP?

Thank you Noiz2, I check the sample rate. It seems to be the same 48. If I wanted to change the audio sample rate in FCP no Soundtrack, is there a way to do that? I think you are on the right track, just can seem to figure out where the difference is cause it to do this.

Any other thoughts?
