FCP audio increase helP

The vows I shot for a wedding are almost inaudible, and I've increased the gain as much as I can in FCP. Any other things I can do to increase the noise level?

You might try sending it to Soundtrack Pro and try increasing the levels there but you're going to be in audio hell...as the noise level will increase a lot, too.

Effects --> Audio Filters --> Apple --> Compressor/Limiter

It will raise the lower sounds and compress the high sounds to reduce the dynamics of the audio. Then apply a gain filter to raise if necessary. Soundtrack Pro will make these settings easier to adjust, but I find the standard filter settings (the ones when applied) to be fine for most cases.

normalize then apply filters and noise reduction. make sure to keep an original copy of the audio!
you will have to fight with hiss....

I'll assume you mean you've maxed out the 12dB gain available via the browser/timeline. The "Gain" audio filter lets you add a lot more gain than that... give it a try to start....
