I've got a line on a new laptop for cheap, but before I buy, I wanna double check something.
As I understand it, the most recent upgrade for FCP accommodates AVCHD footage, but only on intel-based Macs. But I did come across something in a thread a few backs back (and of course, can't find it now) that claimed that, in fact, only intel-based towers will pull it off.
Can anyone confirm or deny that an intel-based macbook running FCP 6 will play friendly with AVCHD?
Thanks.
