FCP and audio help

[Michael Summers]

I have final cut pro and soundtrack, (unless someone can reccomend another free sound editor download) and i need a quick fix to dramatically lower the bass on my videos audio track. i was thinking of exporting the audio to AIFF, then editing with something. how do i lower bass in soundtrack or another free music editing program?

thanks a bunch

You can do it in FCP with one of the equalizers. I am guessing you have at least FCP 4 which has a range of audio filters that will do what you want. I am on my laptop at the moment, so can't check their exact names I'm afraid.
