FCP 7: 24p project - import 30p or 25p easier?

So I'm editing this project in FCP 7 in a 24p timeline (footage from the Canon 5D Mark II) and the client all of a sudden wants to add stock footage - aside from my moral quibbles with even abiding this, all of the footage from the site they want me to use is either in PAL (25) or 30p. The video will not have any sound, so sync issues I don't care about.

I just want to know which one will convert or work in my 24p project more easily as I have limited time and they're already over budget. Any suggestions? Is this something FCP can do automatically or do I need to do some tricks? Thanks!

Sure- or you can conform 25p to 24p using the Tools menu first. But it really doesn't matter a lot.

So of course, they chose some of the 30 frame footage - can I do the same thing - drop it in and use tools menu or is it better to convert in mpeg streamclip first? Thanks!
