Fcp 6 noob needs guidance

Again, a million thanks BenB, I got the eSATA and peripherals overnighted from OWC and I just downloaded posthaste, but I'm not quite sure what it does, and what's an LTO tape? Do I set up posthaste once and it just makes files for me. I picked customize and I'm not quite sure what to do with it from there on, I shut down the window with different programs but I'm not sure what's next. I've already started a project in FCP, so I guess I move them into a posthaste generated folder?
 
PostHaste just sets up folders for your project files. It's not necessary, but I like using it. Contact me off list I'll give you some pointers for using it.
 
Does anyone have any experience with Soundtrack Pro?
I've put my rough cut together and the sound differs from take to take.
I'm assuming Soundtrack Pro is how to even and modulate everything out?

Obviously mic placement has affected the volume, tonality and overall quality.
All the takes sound clean enough, they're just different when I cut back and forth from the
2-shots.
