Hello,
I've edited a sequence in FCP 5.1.4, knowing that I would need to work on the audio, as it has that wonderful overbearing constant warehouse AC hum. I thought I could export the timeline to Soundtrack, edit it, and then just lay it back in FCP, however, I couldn't get it to sound the way I wanted to, so I ended up exporting the whole entire uncut audio clip, and converting to .wav to edit in Audacity.
The audio is fine now, but is there a way that FC will read the timecode and can replace the unedited audio in the final sequence with the Audacity edit audio?
Basically, I don't want to redit, I want to use the same clips/audio already cut together in a sequence, I just want it with the edited audio.
Thank you in advance for your help.
