FCP 4 - Offline RT

Hi, I’m having a problem with Offline RT using FCP 4. I’ve been using Offline RT to work on a doc that I shot, and on the side I just started work on a 10 minute VCD for a friend. All my previous capture settings were set to Offline RT, but I captured 2 tapes of DV footage at full DV quality as I want the VCD footage to look as good as possible. So after capture, when I view the footage in the viewer window it is full quality DV, but when I drag the clip into the canvas window or timeline, it automatically downgrades to Offline RT quality. I changed all capture and browser settings to Full DV quality, and yet the program still reverts to Offline RT. Any advice to fix this automatic switch to Offline RT would be most appreciated. Thanks.

you can't mix qualities. You'll need to set up a new sequence with DV settings
