FCP 4 crashes when I open sequence settings!

:o Hey guys,
Anybody ever come across this problem? Whenever I try to open sequence settings, the program crashes. Is there something I may have set up wrong that would cause this? Everything else seems to work fine. Thanks.

Hey this is happening to me too. I am running FCP4 on a g5 single 1.8 with 1.5 gigs of ram. It just crashes everytime I try. I'm new to FCP still so I just don't do it. haha.
But yeah, it's happening.

I did not have this problem, but my friend does on a 1GHz G4 pwrbook. However, the thing that I think is causing his is that he just upgraded to Panther. Any of you do that recently? If so, you may have to perform a clean install of FCP.

If you get an answer, please post back so I can tell him also. I'll also get in touch with him and see if he has an answer. I know he was going to post over in the Apple>FCP forum, too.

YEah, I just installed panther.
hmmm..I can't remember if I installed FCP before or after panter. .... you think reinstalling it under panther would fix the problem??

I would go ahead and try a reinstall. I don't see any replies to the post over in the Apple forum and I didn't find anything on CreativeCow, either. So that would be my guess. This is assuming you've already trashed your prefs. Post back with results, and good luck.
