I'm using a 1.33 GHz Powerbook (the one just replaced about a month ago, so it is still very current) and just installed Tiger about a week or two ago. Since then, I've had the following problems with FCP 4.5.
1) I can't seem to playback full screen. I get full screen but it's a still and doesn't respond to any of the usual ways to start (i.e., space bar or L key). I have to escape to get out and do all playback in a small window.
2) I got an error message called "General Error" around the same place during playback. It won't go forward and I found nothing in the manual about a "General Error."
3) When I have sequences strung together in a project, I had one sequence where the audio was very out of sync. When I click to get back to that individual sequence to work on it an check it out, it's fine. It only acts up when embedded in with other sequences. By the way, the other sequences seem fine.
Before I installed Tiger, I have never had any problems like this at all. I've always been extremely impressed how FCP 4.5 runs on this machine.
Anyone have any similar problems? Anyone with any suggestions?
