First of all, i would like to say that i am very very happy, because i would never believe that i find a place like this and i am very happy too, because i think that it's the RIGHT place for my question.
I am about to buy my first "serious" miniDV in PAL mode (i have a Sony PC110E for 5 years) and i think that that the best sollution for my needs is DVX-100AE. The only thing that stops me, is that i read the FCP camera compatibility section (http://images.apple.com/finalcutstudio/finalcutpro/pdf/FinalCutPro_5.0_Qualified_20050902.pdf) and i see that FCP is compatible with DVX100 and DVX100A in NTSC and DVX100 only in PAL. Is that true or is an omission of the compatibility issue? Is anyone working with FCP and DVX100A in PAL mode?
My Setup is G5 dual1800 1.5G Ram with FCP 4.5 & 5.
